Quarantine…in 2020
I'm sure we can all agree that 2020 isn't the year we all expected it to be. But there have been some good things that have come out of it. I mean maybe not a lot, but definitely some. And I'm sure we all had goals that we wanted to accomplish during these...well so far 7 months of quarantine. I know I have.

I wanted so badly to conquer the smokey eye make-up. Well, that hasn't happened. Truthfully, I think I tried it twice in these past 7 months. So much for conquering it. Every time I try it, I end up doing too much black and it doesn't look right at all. So, I guess if anyone has any tips, then please let me know!! I've tried pictures and YouTube tutorials, but that wasn't helping and now, I think I'm going to just be happy that I tried it and happy with the progress I made.
Now let's talk about skin care. I heard so many people say they were going to work on skin care and better their routine and whatnot. And some people bettered it, some people found their perfect routine, and some people (like me) didn't master it. In the past 7 months, I have mastered my hair care routine, my nail care routine, and even body care (I'm not sure that's a thing, but I haven't had scaly legs all summer). My skin care however, fell apart. I had a wonderful skin care routine before quarantine started, but since quarantine started, I haven't been taking care of my skin at all. Truthfully, I can't remember the last time I did a face mask. I will say, I do wash and moisturize my face every day, but other than that, there hasn't been much.

But, with all of that said, I know 2020 hasn't been the year that we imagined. But I'm sure we've had some positive things happen in our lives. I know there has been some positive things happen in my life, such as mastering some self-care routines. But all we can hope for is the fact that 2021 will be a much better year than this one. But don't let any of the progress that you've made in this year fall apart. I know I won't forget any of the progress I've made and I will definitely keep on doing the routines I've learned and mastered.
